Misery…oh, you sweet delight…

So, again with Misery.

I like to state that everyone in their insanity has a bit of reason. And with this, we move on…

I enjoyed this movie because of 4 things:

the fluidity of writing novels – i mean the guy just finished to write a novel and in the face of death he starts to write a brand new one and on the same note as his “famous” already published novels? the confidence in living alone and isolated (a bit like Secret Window) – now here we have two sides: Paul goes to the cottage when he must write, and Annie, well Annie lives by herself in the middle of God damn nowhere. Well, she`s not that lonely with her pig. And kidnapping a man. And killing the sheriff. Norman Bates, anyone? And what a coincidence of names… oh, Kathy… the passion and obsession for one person – now, Annie is a case that most people can relate to, up to one point. The passion that she expresses, the obsession, the commitment, and yet the duality of her might be somewha
